Had take away yesterday, and they were so so good. The loaded fries with Jack fruit was a new experience and was so tasty. The chilli wrap and the burger were so fresh, even the buns tasted so fresh and soft. To top that up the owner/manager (not too sure) was kind and friendly and wrote a message on our bag for a personal touch. 😀

David Robertson

Amazing vegan burgers and burritos! Perfect balance of stuff going on and the cheese is melted to perfection. Mark is a legend to boot definitely spend your money here 💚

Pavel Bače

Vego's Vegetarian Fast Food is a gem! We savored a burger and two wraps, each bursting with deliciousness. Beyond the fantastic food, the owner's infectious energy and positive attitude elevated the entire experience. The vibes at this all-vegetarian spot are unmatched. I'm already planning my next visit – it's a fantastic place worth returning to!

Robin-lee Malone

Incredible burger! If it wasn't a plant based shop I would have checked if it was beef 😂 The vegan Sauces were delicious the owner was lovely and I was with a gluten free/celiac friend who could have almost the entire menu! Which is a rarity in itself. They have a gluten free deepfryer and all. 100/10 will be back

Just amazing! We were looking for some good Vegetarian alternatives here in Australia and definitely came to the right place. The food is outstanding and the people working there are the cutest (especially the owner ;)). We both love it and REALLY need a place like this in Germany.

Incredible! Everything we ate was so good. A special shout out to Rohan our waiter who was great! We considered ordering one of the Feed Me options then decided to choose from the menu as we got over excited on our choices, he suggested the quantity of dishes 2 people usually would order so we decided to remove a dish and glad he suggested it as we were definitely satisfied by the end but will be back to try other dishes we like the sound of.

Lauren Strickland

Excellent food and a lovely modern restaurant with great atmosphere. The firecracker chicken (although not really spicy) and crispy pork belly with pineapple were our favourite dishes. The fried rice and Singapore prawns were really good too. Beautiful cocktails too.

Olivia Robb

Had the best lunch yesterday! The service was friendly and quick as it is at the other venues. Food was delicious and the restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere. Please open in Sydney! Light years is my fav restaurant without a doubt!

Jacinta Weatherley

Absolutely love our visits to Light Years! My husband doesn’t get excited about much but after our second visit to the Newcastle restaurant last night, his words ‘it doesn’t get much better than this’. The food, the atmosphere, the service, the vibe… next level. We so and will travel 2.5 hours to eat there. Thank you for creating magic for your customers!!

Kellie Neal

Exceptional service, beautiful decor and fabulous food. I ordered the fire cracker chicken which as to be expected was a bit on the spicy side, but not too hot to be unenjoyable. I ordered the dessert though to cool my mouth down! My daughter is a fussy eater but they were so accommodating to her taste and suggested a different sauce for her chicken. Will definitely be back.

Passed by on the way to Brisbane, dropped in for a lunch, forgot to get their name but the guy and the lady who served us was lovely and friendly. Food was cooked perfectly and well priced. The Cocktail that was recommended by the bartender, it was awesome. Absolutely loved it. If you get a chance to visit Newcastle, I highly recommended you to visit them.

Scrumptious breakfast, delicious coffee & excellent customer service! 🙂 wonderful morning breakfast experience.

Victor Cong (Vic)

My wife and I recently visited the cafe that left quite an impression on us. We had the pleasure of trying their Mediterranean-style salad and were blown away by its delicious and complex flavors. This salad is not only tasty but also incredibly healthy, making it an ideal option for those on a health-conscious diet.

Ben

Walked in to a full house but was quickly seated within 10 minutes. Corn fritters were delightful - crispy outside fluffy inside. Opted for the eggs benedict with smoked salmon, and coupled with the hollandaise, made for the perfect balance. Hash browns while unassuming were my favorite.

Mark Laragy

This cafe is a great find. They provide ye old fashioned service and very friendly. The menu is different to your standard breakfast menu with many fantastic options. Had the corn fritters with poached egg and bacon. It was a 10/10. Will be back. Do yourself a favour and try this great little cafe !!!

The food here was phenomenal. I highly recommend the falafel. With my partner and I being vegan and myself being (mostly) gluten free, it’s often hard to find places that cater to this, let us alone has multiple delicious options! The staff here are all very lovely as well. High recommend 😊

Neha Chopra

The eggplant main was delicious and so were the falafels. I’d say the falafels were overpriced at $17 but for the rooftop location with a balcony and the cuisine it is, it may be why. The chickpeas in the koshari felt semi cooked and hard but we were informed that this is how they do it in Egypt 🇪🇬 😄 great location and private 😁

Shannon

A new fave in Newcastle with so many vegetarian and vegan options. Fun atmosphere, nice staff and excellent food. Perfect for sharing a night with friends.

Petey Points

Absolutely delicious meals, Marola and Samir treated us like family, we were definitely spolit and I love it!!!

Pam Collins

We had dinner at Kings Valley tonight with our Egyptian friend and what a delightful surprise. The owner suggested our entree, so tasty, main meal was great and the dessert was a sensational end to a magnificent night. The owner was so gracious and couldn’t ask for better. Thank you for a lovely evening and we will be back for more 🙏🙏🙏

Good vibe vegan place with friendly staff and great selection of delicious food. My favorite was the mushroom with vegan cheese on sourdough. Nice cake selection

Imogen Sheriff

✨✨Stunning location ✨✨ not to mention gorgeous food and coffee! I ordered the Vietnamese pancake. I am not vegan or veg but truely enjoyed it. Menu items were very extensive and coffee was equally amazing. I encourage you to give Momo’s a go!

Really nice Thai food. Generous on the meat portions, flavours great, good service in store. Open late which was nice, since there doesn't seem to be a lot of other options. But glad we came here

Mohammed Tayyebi

MUST GET- chili basil roasted Duck and sweet chilli basil chicken. Couldn’t stop nibbling on all of them, portions were great too. We also ordered green curry which was amazing. The duck blew my mind away though. Amazing chewy flavour and texture the gravy which the duck came in was good as well.

V Sure

Yummy Thai food in the heart of CBD. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They can prepare most of the items on the menu vegan. The drinks were amazing too.

Ngoc Nguyen

Had a lovely lunch here during the new year - Decent food, good vibes.

Greg Crump

Went here at 2.30 on Sunday as it was open and seats were available. Having lived in Thailand 🇹🇭 Thai food needs to be very authentic for me to even rate it This humble place served up 3 great plates of food. Tasty and very Thai. Was great to get Som Tum which went well with the pork and Grandma's chicken wings .

Mouth watering food tonight and every time. As always, you get what you pay for, and our meals were all delicious. Portion sizes were perfect. 👌🏽 love this place, would like to see a tweak to the menu to see what other fabulous meals the chefs can come up with because everything they put on the plate is amazing. Never any left overs..,

Makensy McPhail

Absolutely amazing customer service! We hadn’t even been sat for 10 minutes after ordering to when our food was delivered. Brilliant staff that work here and amazing food! For a first time, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Alfred Urmanov

Lovely place with nice brewery beers. Didn’t book, but were seated at 4:30pm on Friday. Unfortunately dinner menu is available from 5:30pm so we had some beer with snacks until we could order some dinner dishes.

Erin Hunt

My group got the bottomless brunch and we were a bit late and they were fully accommodating. The drinks were served continuously, and the food was delish. The servers Georgia and Edee were brilliant, so friendly and helped create a fun atmosphere. There were board games to use and great music the whole time. Would recommend for a weekend activity 💯

Geoff Van der Wagen

Fantastic food and cocktails with pub-like atmosphere. Steak was cooked beautifully, lamb shoulder was intense and delicious. Apple crumble was amazing and served at perfect temperature (piping hot).

staff very friendly. great food. super tenderly juicy beef cheek and aromatic roasted chicken. all done to perfection.

Jesus Urbina

Fantastic traditional España cuisine. I dined quite early so the ambience was still building up. Great service...I would highly recommend the meat/seafood Paella and the cerveza de Peru...Cusqueña.

Victoria Blom

Delightful service from a warm, lovely waitress. Each dish was delicious in its own right & lovely to share a few small items. Food served promptly too! However, we were seated next to a curtain bordering a hallway and were interrupted a number of times by other diners mistaking this for an entrance point to the dining area 😅 I would absolutely recommend this place but my advice would be to call & request a window seat, especially for a date.

Ina I

Bocados Spanish Kitchen is amazing. We have been to Bocados couple of times but recently we celebrated birthday there and we were not disappointed. We ordered Patatas bravos, Albondigas, Pollo Asado, Chorizo ala romesco, Ensalada de remolacha and Espadin. Everything was so delicious, and the service was great. Highly recommend.

Nikhil Vaswani

Amazing food. Ordered the empanadas on recommendation from the staff. Lovely staff and great atmosphere, I didn't have a booking but they accepted my walk in and sat me near the bar. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Newcastle.

Lovely dishes with good honest service. The scallops and the rockmelon & prosciutto salad were great starters. The shared paella for main was filling with plenty of seafood. We shared the popcorn panna cotta for dessert: a perfect panna cotta, a wonderful salted caramel sauce, but not so sure about the popcorn.

Steve Astill

3rd time here, and can't wait for the 4th. Never disappoints. Great food, drink and staff are incredible.

Pi F

Paymasters is a consistent jewel in Newcastle's collection of quality restaurants. Probably a little under-rescourced when hosting large bookings, but otherwise near perfect. (Looks like a well stocked wine menu too.)

Gabi Stein

Paymasters never disappoints. The food is wonderful and the menu filled with choice. The dishes are innovative and always extremely tasty. Chef Randolph is a friendly host with great attention to detail. The views are lovely and the staff extremely helpful. A great restaurant for any occasion. One of our favourites.

Fgasco 73

Fantastic staff are wonderful, entree dinner dessert plus cocktails amazing yum
