Good food, great service and a view to match. Plenty of gluten free options. The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The entrance wasn't obvious at first. But it's quite clear in the side street. Take the elevator to the 14th floor and there isn't much else up there.

Tina Lukas

Amazing place. Took my daughter for her 18th. They went above and beyond for her surprise birthday dessert. Lovely atmosphere, live music but not too invasive, could still have a conversation. Meals were incredibly quick. Great cocktails

Hugo Quiñones

Soko Brisbane exceeded my expectations in every way. The ambiance was inviting, the service was impeccable, and the food was an absolute delight. Each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors, leaving a lasting impression. The attention to detail and commitment to quality truly set Soko apart. A memorable dining experience – I can't wait to return and savor more of their culinary delights. Highly recommended!

Dave Eri

Had Friday work drinks here and the atmosphere was vibrant. Good range of cocktails and the fusion food was great.

Ariell Alexis

The food was outstanding and our waiter was commendable. The roving girls in colorful costumes really added to the atmosphere as well as the live music on the rooftop. The quality of the food was unparalleled and came out in perfect timing. Not to mention, the spicy margarita was a winner."

Love it. Every time. Absolutely delicious Japanese and lovely staff. Always love the Kotobuki roll - it's a shame they no longer do a smaller roll or half size, so you can't too try many other meals, but there always next time. It's just not the easiest place to pick up from but definitely worth the effort!

Erin

One of the best Japanese katsu chicken curries I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating and gosh it’s excellent value for money. The serving size of this curry is huge, and it is simply delicious. Chicken was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had so much flavour and depth. Have picked up from the restaurant (very busy, but great you can order ahead) and had delivery which was still fresh and hot upon arrival.

Chris Macer

One of Brisbane's classic Japanese eateries. Great taste, cheap price, can't ask for much more than that. Overall brilliant, just wish their rice quality was a little higher and would be five stars.

Malka

Sushi Kotobuki is one of the best sushi restaurants around Brisbane. The food is always of great quality, and the prices are more than generous. My favourite are the fresh salmon avocado and the fresh tuna avocado urumaki rolls. The agedashi tofu and the bento boxes are nice too. The staff are friendly and the service is really good as well. This is definitely my favourite place to visit to get all my sushi cravings satisfied.

Emily Lahey

Always a winner and a must visit for me whenever I’m in Brisbane. Sushi has a modern/Australian flair but is consistently delicious. Can recommend the cream cheese chicken sushi. Separately, the seared salmon nigiri is the best I’ve ever tasted. The decor is no frills but not an issue when the food is that good.

Prices and food are still good since they moved. They have QR code ordering but at least you can still order with the staff as usual.

Weng Ian Chu

The chicken soft bone is spot on. The yakisoba is the best I have ever had; it's bursting with flavor, and I think the addition of pickles elevates the dish. I traveled from Melbourne and will definitely come here again.

Alex Law

A hidden gem in West End! It was full house on Thursday night. We were seated outside and was served by Coco. Excellent service and good recommendations from her. The food was excellent, and the scallops were fantastic. There are plenty of choices to pick from. Well done!

Shelly Rau

Undoubtedly one of the best food experiences I've had in Brisbane. We celebrated my birthday and splurged on the $75 set, everything left us impressed - the flavours and presentation were outstanding. Most importantly the friendly staff who took every effort to ensure we had a great time. Would come back any time!

Nicole Pearson

Me and my sister went for lunch on Easter Monday with my 2 kids. We had great time there. Kids enjoy food, special and delicious, especially spicy pork udon, its kids acceptable. Me and my sister has enjoy special Sake set, it’s lovely. Staff are very friendly and respond our request very quick.

Arina Dalila

Food was delicious, the server recommended most of the dishes so thank you for that. I wouldn’t mind coming back for more! The fried brinjal, the wagyu nigiri, the steak, edamame and prawns was my favourite. Even asked for chilli flakes, it was super good too. Love it! It was a memorable dinner.

Gigi T

Yoko Dining in Brisbane impressed with its contemporary Japanese cuisine. The dishes were artfully crafted. The service was attentive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu. The river and Story Bridge view added to the overall charm.

일본식 교자를 호주에서 맛볼 수 있다니! I'm happy that I could try Japanese good in Brisbane Price is bit expensive though I really enjoyed the foods! but the sushi taco was not for me haha I love Mexican tacos Rice paper with seaweed was crispy but it's bit fishy

Ella Qin

Miki’s Omurice is fantastic! I also ordered the taco and it is much bigger than I expected. No need to order much food here because of the size.

Louise Grunow

Authentic little laneway eatery. Very fast service and very delicious food! Fresh and flavoursome.... great city secret!

Grace Mitchell

Delicious Gyoza and Beef Tataki. The staff are very nice and the service is quick! The tataki is flavoursome and gyoza was juicy and tasty. I would recommend to family and friends in future! Nice atmosphere and in great location.

The vegan fire ramen was very good, and I’m glad I could get a low gluten alternative too! I loved the atmosphere, it was very relaxing, I enjoyed it 😀

Sten Edwards

Quick service, great food, really tasty vegan ramen~ Arrived just after 5:30pm when they opened for dinner on a Monday and it's pretty quiet. An hour later, still only about 1/3 of the seats are filled. The customers are having quiet conversations, the music in the background is also very soft so it's a nice place to come for a relaxing meal with friends or on a date.

Innocent Murmur

Lunch for two - both loved it. Loved it so much I bought the frozen take home pack back interstate. Excellent broth, firm chew noodles. Lovely staff.

David Fayyad

Authentic Japanese restaurant with very friendly staff who are passionate about what they do… and they do ramen, very well. Noodles are perfect and the broth (I had the Tonkotsu) took me back to my memories of ramen in Japan. Gyoza was delicious and drinks selection is plentiful. Prices are very reasonable as welll.. Highly recommended!

Jeffrey Yuen

A very nice Japanese restaurant in City centre. Highly recommend! The pork katsu was great!

Miro Ji

Food and service were exceptional! Highly reccomend and will definetly be back. It is a good value option for Japanese food in the CBD. Yakiniku was excellent and a huge portion compared to other bento we could find at the Myer centre.

Jiaao Yu

Kadoya has been one of my favourite go-to places for some decent curry food for years, still lovin it.

Takeshi Kasumi

Everything I want from a good Japanese Karaage Chicken Curry! And the chilli they added (you can see it making a red island in the curry) was actually quite hot too! Only gripe was that, while everything was hot, it seemed like the karaage was not freshly fried but rather re-fried/re-cooked, but that probably fine at this price point. Defs the best Japanese curry I’ve had yet!

Japanese cuisine’s artistic essence lies in balance, where each element harmonizes to create a symphony of flavors. Nigiri, for instance, illustrates the importance of every component – rice and fish – in achieving a perfect, unified taste experience.

Miguel Alvarado

Outstanding experience! The lunch omakase was extremely delicious. Special touch of bringing out birthday cake at the end was lovely.

Ryan M

One of the best Japanese meals we have ever had . Up there with Nobu. Great attentive customer service and creative cocktails. A special occasion spot as its on the expensive side . We went there for our anneversary and my wife loved it .

Brandon Custodio

The food was outstanding! We loved the Okonomiyaki, Ramen, and fried chicken. The miso soup was also exceptional, and the salmon avocado hand roll was incredibly fresh. We're looking forward to coming back on our next trip to Brisbane. The only thing to note is that they don't accept cash. Thanks for the great meal. 😊😊

Cindy Si

Happened to walk past and was attracted by their specials. Amazing service, very polite and friendly. First time trying cold ramen - very refreshing, loved the citrus twist. Nice house sake to go with the ramen. Bustling atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Zoe Carpenter

Very delicious food, the miso soup was the best I’ve had in a long time. Spicy Karaage was perfectly cooked, the pork gyozas and takoyaki were so tasty. Spicy tonkatsu ramen was divine. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, nice view into the kitchen. Very much recommended. Will be back!

Gee

Delicious, fresh, good value. The only thing I suggest is that unless you want all your food on the table at once, order in batches. We will be back.
