Great service, beautiful place and outstanding food. We wanted to try things we haven't tried before, so although we didn't love the mushrooms and the scallops, its probably because it's just not for us. But we certainly LOVED the eggplant. It's unbelievable crispy in the outside and soft in the inside and delicious. Also the shrimps, great. Recommended.

Forever and a day and still the best Chinese / Cantonese food in Melbourne. Yes it’s decor is old, but it’s a classic! Service phenomenal and Barney by far the best host we’ve had over the past 20 years. They always go the extra mile if it’s your birthday. All food here is amazing and unless you drink alcohol the price is well worth it!
Amazing atmosphere, the customer service was immaculate. We came as a group of four, when we ordered the mains they served it all to us all equally instead of just picking at the dish. Our favourite was definitely the Peking Duck! Definitely would recommend going back and trying out more of there dishes 🙌🏼 The drinks were also amazing, a restaurant always worth visiting.

Located in a quiet alleyway, it offers a nice and cozy dining atmosphere. The drinks are very tasty and creatively crafted with Asian elements. The appetizers are not only delicious but also present a show, such as the flaming prawns. The main dish I ordered was numbing beef, served with rice, and it was very tender and flavorsome.
We had dinner at RuYi tonight and our experience was amazing. We ordered a selection of home plate dishes which were all so different and tasty. The tofu and fried chicken wings is definitely a must. Had the tasting dessert platter which was amazing. The waitress who served was was excellent. She explained all the dishes when they arrived at the table and made recommendations. Highly recommended!
This place is insane. The food is next level good. We got the 5 course tasting menu and the food was so good that we were almost about to ask if we could get the 9 instead. But once we got to our last item we were so full. We even came back the next day to get takeaway chicken wings. The atmosphere is so calm and all the workers there are so nice. It has an authentic feel to it and would defiantly come here again next time i visit Melbourne. I would give this place 6/5 stars if I could.

Best Asian restaurant we have found and tried in a long time. Their tea smoked chicken and duck dumplings in Peking sauce is amazing. Nice quiet setting, polite staff, great service. My only issue was may be a favourite sweet and sour dish but not enough to lose any star. A must visit and a definite return.
I have had lunch there twice and absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. Great staff! Food is amazing. I've tried the Fried Chicken Ribs and Veg Friedrice on the 2 occasions I've been there. The tea setup looks amazing near the entrance. Haven't tried the tea yet. Hopefully next time.

One of the best Chinese Malaysian cuisines in Melbourne. We had the salted fish and chicken fried rice, I can say it's the best that I have tasted in Melbourne. The BBQ Pork and dry noodle was also good, pork perfectly cooked. Service was awesome too. Definitely would be back when I'm in North Melbourne!
