Could not help myself stop eating it. It allows you to choose your ingredients and cost by the overall weight, which is quite controllable and fair. And the spice and the flavor just hit the spot. It will become my most impressive memory in Melbourne

Fer Emma

Great service, beautiful place and outstanding food. We wanted to try things we haven't tried before, so although we didn't love the mushrooms and the scallops, its probably because it's just not for us. But we certainly LOVED the eggplant. It's unbelievable crispy in the outside and soft in the inside and delicious. Also the shrimps, great. Recommended.

Great food. Very authentic menu with lots of options. Handmade yoghurt drink was delicious. We got the double cooked pork belly. Catfish. And duck. If you plan to have duck let them know in advance so they can prepare it or at least 50min

Laura Melo

Their dishes have a delicious flavor, a very calm and fresh atmosphere, as a recommendation on the menu they should specify how big the plate is or how many people it is, because the photo shows a personal plate but in reality it was a lot of food for one person alone.

Fooodiejoy

Phenomenal authentic Szechuan cuisine! The staff were friendly and approachable. The food were tasted phenomenal! I couldn’t recommend the chinese souerkraut fish enough, they are generous with the meat and the soup is delicious and flavourful. Everything else tasted incredible and really well priced

Forever and a day and still the best Chinese / Cantonese food in Melbourne. Yes it’s decor is old, but it’s a classic! Service phenomenal and Barney by far the best host we’ve had over the past 20 years. They always go the extra mile if it’s your birthday. All food here is amazing and unless you drink alcohol the price is well worth it!

Joy Dala

Amazing atmosphere, the customer service was immaculate. We came as a group of four, when we ordered the mains they served it all to us all equally instead of just picking at the dish. Our favourite was definitely the Peking Duck! Definitely would recommend going back and trying out more of there dishes 🙌🏼 The drinks were also amazing, a restaurant always worth visiting.

Tushar Kelkar

Fantastic evening! Food was lip smacking delicious and the service was top notch. Their prawn & chives har gao, peking duck pancakes, chicken moutai and the eye fillet with sichuan were particularly sensational.

Such a beautiful restaurant - it’s like being transported to another era. They have their mooncake offering at the moment and the truffle pork is the best (First time having a savoury mooncake). Great dishes and cocktails on offer as well - loved the pork belly, dumplings and spicy prawns

n0b0dy WasH3re

Amazing food. The customer service is amazing, the drinks are so cold and yummy. The food representation is like nothing else I’ve ever seen, I ordered braised pork in sweet soy sauce and it came out in a clay pot. Vegetarian options: There are many options.

TheHoboKing

The rainbow beef was the best beef I have ever had, it was so juicy and I didn't get flavour fatigue like I usually get, along with this the customer service is excellent the guy was so funny and made sure we felt at home while eating out.

Exceptional! From walking in the door - the service was fantastic. We seated at the bar and watched the chefs perform their magic and present perfect courses. We enjoyed the banquet, which included aged duck, lobster with xo sauce and wagyu beef. The evening was definitely a celebration of food!

Clare Graf-Mitchell

Le Ho Fook is a fantastic restaurant with wonderful food and friendly, attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tried, with standouts being the scallops with black fungus, the char siu pork jowl and the mango pudding.

Had an amazing experience. Food was great. The signature dumpling was so flavourful and too juicy. Love to visit this place again. Place was busy too but worth the wait. Do visit this place. You won’t regret.

Kimberly Maxwell

Delicious dumplings in China Town. Service is fast and food came out quickly. I’d recommend trying the dumplings with peanut and sesame sauce, it’s a great addition.

Gene

Hand made soup dumplings. The menu is extensive. Good vegetarian options. Long lines at lunch. Especially during the week. If you come early or after 1 it's easier to get a table.

Located in a quiet alleyway, it offers a nice and cozy dining atmosphere. The drinks are very tasty and creatively crafted with Asian elements. The appetizers are not only delicious but also present a show, such as the flaming prawns. The main dish I ordered was numbing beef, served with rice, and it was very tender and flavorsome.

H R

We had dinner at RuYi tonight and our experience was amazing. We ordered a selection of home plate dishes which were all so different and tasty. The tofu and fried chicken wings is definitely a must. Had the tasting dessert platter which was amazing. The waitress who served was was excellent. She explained all the dishes when they arrived at the table and made recommendations. Highly recommended!

Tara McKellar

This place is insane. The food is next level good. We got the 5 course tasting menu and the food was so good that we were almost about to ask if we could get the 9 instead. But once we got to our last item we were so full. We even came back the next day to get takeaway chicken wings. The atmosphere is so calm and all the workers there are so nice. It has an authentic feel to it and would defiantly come here again next time i visit Melbourne. I would give this place 6/5 stars if I could.

Best Asian restaurant we have found and tried in a long time. Their tea smoked chicken and duck dumplings in Peking sauce is amazing. Nice quiet setting, polite staff, great service. My only issue was may be a favourite sweet and sour dish but not enough to lose any star. A must visit and a definite return.

Linda Feng

We ordered catering for 100 people in the office. The service was on time, professional and food was phenomenal. Everything was devoured with plenty of compliments. Thank you oriental tea house!

Patrick Sharma

I have had lunch there twice and absolutely loved the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant. Great staff! Food is amazing. I've tried the Fried Chicken Ribs and Veg Friedrice on the 2 occasions I've been there. The tea setup looks amazing near the entrance. Haven't tried the tea yet. Hopefully next time.

One of the best Chinese Malaysian cuisines in Melbourne. We had the salted fish and chicken fried rice, I can say it's the best that I have tasted in Melbourne. The BBQ Pork and dry noodle was also good, pork perfectly cooked. Service was awesome too. Definitely would be back when I'm in North Melbourne!

Jill Chang

Great quality and quantity of Chinese/Cantonese foods locate in North Melbourne! I am a Hananese Chicken Rice Fan and have been to BoxHill and Glen Waverley but hardly to find this beautiful sauce like they do.

Brayden McGregor

Literally THE best Asian cuisine experience you will have. The staff are always friendly and the food is second to none. I have been coming here for years and travel a decent distance every time just for the great food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
