One of the best restaurants in Sydney. Bas, the bar manager is so friendly and welcoming. He offered us a special cocktail that they were planning to put on the menu. Queen was the bartender who made it. It was such a lovely matcha drink with taste of coconut and citrus. She made it so beautifully. The food was great would highly recommend this place

Amazing Japanese food . Everything we ordered was all delicious & absolutely loving the presentation as well. Yuli who served us on the night was very friendly and very nice to making sure that customers are happy. The only downside is to find the restaurant was a bit challenging for the first timer . We definitely recommend this restaurant to try it out for those who haven’t.
I originally wrote a review about food being somewhat salty but management reached out to say that they will relay the information to kitchen and even offered to remedy the experience. I was unable to take up on their offer but feel that the restaurant genuinely cares about the dining experience. The restaurant staff was very friendly and kind too. Bumping the review to 5 stars.

I cannot fault any of the dishes. They gifted me a complimentary cup of sake for my Birthday. Overall we had an amazing time. Thank you Besuto for the experience!
I don’t often write google reviews but I had to write one for Besuto. My first Omakase experience and it did not disappoint. Visited this place to celebrate my partner’s birthday & we were blown away by the quality & freshness of each dish, the chefs, the exceptional customer service, & friendliness of all staff. Special shout-out to staff Winnie & Roland (I hope I got those names right!) for their fantastic service as well as making us laugh the whole time. Would highly recommend this spot!
Had their omakase and was thoroughly impressed. My family wouldn’t stop raving about it after. The waitress Winnie and the waiter (didn’t catch his name) were great and made us feel very welcomed. Chef Kim was also very personable and friendly and explained each dish as they were served. Definitely worth a try if you want something more than your usual sushi meal. Their chawanmushi, otoro, wagyu, and yuzu sorbet were our favourite.

Very good restaurant in a beautiful building. The food was very good, though the portions were a bit on the small side. But the prices were reasonable, so can just order more. I highly recommend the pork belly! And of course the seafood and veggie tempura, karaage chicken, agedashi tofu, and their desert! Their matcha filled cake was delicious!Service was good too. Very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely come back.
We enjoyed both the Wagyu steak and Shabu as they were exceptionally delicious. The meat was incredibly tender and fresh. It's recommended to have congee instead of rice. The soup was incredibly delicious, made from a combination of beef and vegetables. The service was also excellent, with the staff being very attentive and polite.

My Zakaya was recommended to us by a friendly passenger sitting with us on a Jetstar flight from Cairns. We had a lunch menu with the chef’s selection of sushi recommendation and a chicken karaage. Served super fresh and with Japanese touch it was definitely inexpensive of our most memorable lunch in Sydney, Surrey Hills area. Arigato gozaimasu!
This boutique Japanese restaurant has a really intimate and cosy vibe. We enjoyed the delicious lunch menu! I had the delicious Terriaki Chicken Teishoku and Ashai lunch beer special. The Edamame were the best I have ever tried. The staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this place for an authentic Japanese experience. The food is very high quality. I can’t wait to go back to try all the other dishes on the Menu, that my friends also tried.
Managed to get a large group table relatively last minute for a Saturday night and was really happy with the super great service and food! We did a set menu for $70 pp and the food was so delicious, and we were also full at the end. Especially loved the tataki, saucy dumplings and super juicy karaage. Getting a huge bottle of sake to share was also lots of fun!!
